so finally i get to watch Twilight the movie, after hearing so much about it on the internet. luckily one of my gf had the movie in bluray so we watched it together.

how should i say this.............
wow............
what a sucky movie.....i was laughing at the end because the movie feels like a comedy. Okay, so what i liked about the movie: when the chase starts, that part was exciting; the lights at the prom is pretty; the sparking part, now i understand why twilight fans have those t-shirt saying "i love boys who sparkle". the vampire dad is cool, and the mom is very pretty. the reason of living in washington state, kinda interesting. that's about it.
what's off with the movie: the actress is..really...bad... aren't there other actresses who fit the role and can at least somewhat act??!! the dialogues...emmm....where do i start? is the script written by some high school teenagers who just had basic training in writing? the love..err..how did it happen again?
the story, the setting, the supposedly coolness background are soo weak. i guess if someone who's only been exposed to American romance novels will find it interesting.
my verdict, if you are a manga reader, twilight will disappoint you, the vampire stories in manga are so much more imaginative and better written. altho i want to try to read the book now, see if it is as bad as the movie.
